    PARAMOUNT PICTURES pressbook  for
    "
    BRING ON THE GIRLS
    "
    starring
Veronica Lake, Eddie Bracken, Marjorie Reynolds, Sonny Tufts, Johnny Coy, Peter Whitney, Alan Mowbray, Porter Hall, Spike Jones and his Orchestra...directed by Sidney Lanfield
    Pressbook is
    uncut
    and has
    never been folded
    .
Corners are nice and sharp, the spine is separated (cover only) at the bottom about 4 inches and the top about 1 inch. There is wear on the spine near the center, affecting the back cover more than the front, it has some minimal scraping away of
    the
paper, you can see it in picture 2 starting near the center and going down about 2 inches. Luckily that is where the border is so only the white border area is affected. The inside pages are in excellent condition.

Before bidding, if you have any questions, please send us a message and we will respond the same day. Please note that all of our pressbook images are
    scanned
directly from the pressbook up for auction. Scans allow you to see every detail, which is why we chose to scan our images rather than photograph them.   This collection has been of the utmost importance to me and has been stored in a temperature controlled room for many years in non-smoking home storage with 2 Hepa air filters and in the summer 2 industrial dehumidifiers, inside a protective bag. When scanning pressbooks, almost all of the images inside were printed to be "newspaper ready." Newspapers use a larger dot (lower resolution) image to make up a photo or advertisement, so while scanning them for viewing here, some images look like there may be light lines or dark areas on faces and other parts of an image, please note this is a result of scanning, the actual images do not have that effect. Finally, you may wonder why many of our scans (pictures of the product) state in pink letters "PHOTO FOR EBAY" or something similar over some of the images. I have discovered that there were people copying these images and enlarging them and making prints to sell on auction web sites. So to prevent this illegal activity, we are forced to put some print over some of the better images, they are not on the items themselves.

    ABOUT ME:
I have been a movie fan all of my life, my grandfather worked for both Universal and RKO, and my mother was an editor at Paramount. At age 8 I was taken to my grandfather's offices and saw piles of movie pressbooks stacked up.  I have collected since I was 8. Over the years, when I obtained a pressbook, it would immediately go into a plastic bag and was taped shut so no air could enter. This was after I unfolded them, if they were folded.  My father owned a furniture store which my grandfather opened in 1900, which I worked at for 10 years and the first thing and most important thing he taught me was about customer relations, to treasure each and every customer, so I am an old-fashioned seller who cares about each sale, a "mom and pop" store. I am ALWAYS available to talk about anything you might be interested in from my store or our transaction as I check my Ebay mail almost every 2 hours during the day. I do love talking about movies. Please don't hesitate to message me.
